Whatever happened to these...
I was clearing out a box of old samples the other day and found this 'fork' open end. The concept was that the prongs of a dinner fork could be pushed through the four holes in the tab and the fork used to lever the panel off the end. Great for those who struggle to grip and pull the conventional ring pull. I think it came out of Italy in the 1990's. Does anybody know if this ever made it into the marketplace?
I would love to hear about other end designs you have come across but for whatever reason never made it to the supermarket shelves. Maybe lurking back in history is tomorrows innovation! ![]() |
